Actor, Director, Swing Dancer
John Druzba is a dynamic character actor, director and swing dance instructor. He has a "younger Clark Gregg" or "young Robert Duvall" look with a "Will Forte personality." Originally from Albany, he lives in Manhattan.
He is a member of SAG-AFTRA & AEA.
John trained at BADA's Shakespeare summer at Oxford as well as HB Studio and Barrow Group in New York City.
John Druzba worked on NBC's innovative variety show Maya & Marty in 2016 as Martin Short's primary stand-in, and later went on to be prominently featured on SNL for over 5 years. He has had plenty of live 3-cam experience and training.
Comedy & Improv:
An Upright Citizen's Brigade grad (UCB), he has been on several indy improv teams and once produced a one-man comedy show that sold out at the PIT Loft.
John has directed several short films, and stage scenes including the award winning student mobile short "Walls" and Frankie & Johnny in the Clair de Lune at HB Studio.
Having taken his first dance class in 1998, John has taught social style swing dance of various styles since 2000. He has participated in social style competitions in Bop in Canada, Lindy Hop at Lincoln Center, and Boogie Woogie at Boogie Feets.
